- Works with investigative sites to develop study-specific action plans to accelerate patient recruitment
- Provides ongoing training and information to investigative site staff on the protocol, focusing on inclusion/exclusion criteria and logístical components of patient enrollment; conducts recruitment training sessions
- Collaborates with investigators and study coordinator to develop the site-specific recruitment plan
- Supports sites with the implementation of technologies to support patient recruitment and retention (such as referral management portal, or retention app)
- Has a good working knowledge of diversity initiatives to support sites with the recruitment of underrepresented patient populations
- Understands the patient and site reimbursement process, to inform and advise sites
- Explores and utilizes available meeting platforms to increase study awareness throughout the investigative sites, referral networks, and community outreach groups
- Conducts referral network presentations in a variety of settings internally and externally to increase referrals to the site
- Works in conjunction with the Patient Engagement team, Sponsor, CRAs, and vendors to provide site support and ensures the site has all the tools necessary to successfully enroll in the trial
- Works closely with investigators and all other key stakeholders at sites, i.e., study coordinator, nurses, pharmacists, etc., to address barrier to patient recruitment and retention unique to each site (and maximize potential for patient recruitment)
- Develops and implements effective and/or creative strategies to mitigate the barriers and improve overall enrollment at the site
- Acts as a resource for investigative sites by sharing best practices and strategies for patient identification and retention
- May be required to travel and conduct in-person visits when necessary and as required by the Sponsor and/or study needs
- Assists in reviewing patient recruitment materials and tactics based on site and protocol needs
- Review of Patient Engagement material translations for accuracy and cultural relevance
- Tracks and assesses effectiveness of strategies to increase recruitment, enrollment and retention and makes changes, when necessary, based on the results
- Be a feedback loop on strategies, tactics and execution to the wider Patient Engagement team
- Serves as trial liaison at investigative sites to address all issues effectively and efficiently (provide feedback to Sponsor, Project Lead, CRAs on relevant trial matters)
- Escalates any concerns regarding study execution with line manager, the project management and clinical operations teams
- Authors recruitment newsletters / updates in local language, as required
- Provides accurate and timely reports of site visits
- Completes other tasks as directed by Manager, or other Leadership

- Bachelor’s degree BA/BS in the biological or health sciences or Registered Nurse or related field or equivalent academic professional qualifications
- Clinical research experience is a must
- Community engagement and/or patient recruitment experience are preferred, but not
