**Our Exciting Opportunity**

The Business Controller is accountable to drive value creation for the Customer Unit (CU) Iberia, driving business and financial performance for the unit, and ensuring compliance and risk management.

The role will drive the MELA strategic agenda from a financial perspective across all dimensions of the business. The Customer Unit (CU) Business Controller will report to the Head of Business Control & Sourcing in Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA) and will report dotted line into the Customer Unit (CU) Iberia Head. The Customer Unit Business Controller will also be encouraged to collaborate with the Domain Controllers to drive and embed the Business Area (BA) financial strategy into the Customer Unit (CU).

**You will**:

- Lead and enable a team of financial analysts, cost analysts, business controllers, deal controllers, project financial managers, and collections analysts supporting the CU
- Influence financial decisions impacting the CU Iberia including customer and partner negotiation support
- Partner with CU Iberia Head and KAM’s to see opportunities and enablers / blockers to winning business
- Drive resource, country, and full potential strategies for the Customer Unit, from a financial perspective
- Ensure early warning system for financial risks; ensure mitigation plans in place, and drive opportunities
- Work with customers and Customer Unit team to drive cash strategies for the Customer Unit Iberia; involving Treasury and customer financing solutions where appropriate
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration with the Business Controllers in the respective Business Areas
- Actively participate and contribute to the MELA Financial Strategy & Priorities in collaboration with all MELA BC&S LT members
- Ensure compliance and integrity of CU financials

**To be successful in this role, you mush have**:

- 10+ years of finance / business control experience
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Solid People and Thought Leadership experience
- Ability to interface and meet with our customers
- Outstanding eye for business and financial modelling capability
- Experience from working in a Matrix business ecosystem
- Outstanding team and interpersonal skills
