At Packfeeder as part of the Rotzinger Group (Swiss Industrial Multinational) we are dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of our worldwide patented mechanical and robotic packaging positioning machinery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Design and Development**: Create detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD software. Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs
- ** Analysis**: Perform stress, strain, thermal or any other analysis to ensure the reliability and durability of components and systems
- ** Manufacturing Support**: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including selecting materials and methods. Work closely with production teams to implement designs
- ** Project Management**: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- ** Quality Assurance**: Implement quality control procedures and standards. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure products meet specifications
- ** Documentation**: Prepare contents for technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides
- ** Compliance**: Ensure designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety codes

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication (English and Spanish) and teamwork skills.
- Experience with quality control and assurance processes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in packaging industry.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental impact analysis.
