Director of Corporate Affairs

You will work closely with the Evinova leadership team to develop, manage, and deliver communications strategies and campaigns in support of Evinova’s business priorities. It’s a fast-paced environment, so you will need to be a dexterous and experienced communications professional with experience working across multiple disciplines to a high level. This should include media, digital, brand, government affairs, and internal communications.
You will lead the development and delivery of Evinova’s communications strategy and activity, working closely with the Evinova Leadership Team to deliver campaigns and programs that are audience-focused, data-driven, and support business priorities. You will bring your experience in health and medical technologies to support Evinova’s growth and customer success. Your responsibilities will be diverse and include media relations; digital channel strategy and delivery; executive positioning and profile-raising; narrative and message development; strategic identification of key platforms, partnerships, and sponsorships; and launch and product milestone communications. You will also work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to deliver marketing campaigns, including strategy, targeting, segmentation, and budgeting.
You will be a key member of the Evinova leadership team and will play an active role in crafting the organization’s agenda and profile, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership. Cultural awareness and the ability to work with international teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment will be key.
You are proactive and innovative and able to gain the trust and respect of senior leaders, who will rely on your counsel and mentorship. You are hands-on and willing to flex between strategy and delivery with excellent writing, project management, and planning skills. Multi-channel communications experience (particularly digital communications and analytics) is crucial, with a consistent track record in campaign and communications delivery.
You will need to demonstrate initiative and collaborative skills while working as part of a close-knit, impactful, and flexible team. You will be expected to play an important role in fostering a positive culture as part of the broader Evinova team globally and to work with colleagues across AstraZeneca.
- Work with the Evinova Leadership Team and across the team and AstraZeneca more broadly to develop and implement communications strategies and campaigns to support business growth and priorities.
- Deliver integrated, audience-first, and data-led campaigns and communications to external collaborators.
- Embed effective and efficient ways of working, identifying external communications resource requirements to support Evinova’s long-term success.
- Ensure approaches are best-in-class, embracing best practices, implementing key takeaways, and sharing new insights.
- Engage and lead management of contract resources to support effective execution of communication activities as required. Oversee quality and compliance of work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, backed by strong analytical and digital skills.
- Ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing across multiple areas. Can synthesize large amounts of data and distil points clearly, and succinctly in reports or verbally.
- Sound judgment combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Excellent eye for detail, including strong visual judgment and design oversight skills.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 12 years of marketing and communications experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed global in-house or agency communications team.
