Capital Markets Quants (“CMQ”) is a new way of working in the Real Estate Capital Markets (“CM”) leveraging our Intelligence & Data through a global platform.

We are seeking experienced quant profiles with proven financial, capital markets and quantitative / data skills to join our CMQ team and be part of the creation and growth of tools to originate and deliver CM projects and deals.

This role will be focused on the development and continuous improvement of Global AI-based Automated Valuation Models (AVMs), Benchmarking and Risk Metrics solutions to provide services for our client portfolios. It will have a strong link to CMQ services and our clients’ strategies and needs, through adopting a data-driven approach in all stages and developing new business lines.

You will be based in the global quants team in Madrid and will need to work with multi-cultural teams across the globe.

This role will heavily involve data and coding to build prototypes/proof of concept solutions, some of which will turn into products. You must possess an entrepreneurial mindset: creative problem-solving, ability to work independently and also be a strong team-player. Good communication skills are necessary to explain business problems succinctly and in a structured way to our in-house technology partners.

Scope of Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative and data science models together with CMQ team to drive product enhancement and services to innovate for Valuations and Capital Markets, including AVMs and benchmarking
- Identify and help to connect suitable and relevant internal / external real estate and risk related databases to enrich the platform and build Risk Metrics, including necessary data wrangling
- Build prototypes/proof of concept solutions to generate bespoke solutions and ideas for our strategic clients
- Pro-active ideation of solutions to improve CM platforms, including independent, creative problem-solving to address technical challenges
- Connect with main stakeholders of valuations business and technology partners to deliver impactful solutions to grow our capabilities.
- Strong financial / quantitative background in AVMs and/or market, liquidity and credit risk (5 - 10 years’ experience)
- SQL, Python (or similar), Pyspark and Excel is essential
- Knowledge of machine learning and algorithms development.
- Solid project management and execution skills, experience working in autonomous and fast-changing environment
- Native Spanish speaker
