Capital Markets Quants ("CMQ") is a new way of working in the Real Estate Capital Markets ("CM") leveraging our Intelligence & Data through a global platform.


We are seeking experienced quant profiles with proven financial, capital markets and quantitative / data skills to join our CMQ team and be part of the creation and growth of tools to originate and deliver CM projects and deals.


This role will be focused on the development and continuous improvement of AI CM debt and hedging and derivatives services.

It will have a strong link to debt brokerage services and our clients' investment strategies, through adopting a data-driven approach in all transaction stages (origination, execution, and closing) and developing new business lines.


You will be the point of reference for predictive models for debt and derivatives transactions of CMQ products and services and will work with debt and derivatives advisors in complex deals, including customizing technical solutions for specific projects/markets.

You will be based in the global quants team either in Madrid or Miami and will need to work with multi-cultural teams across the globe.


This role will heavily involve data and coding to build prototypes/proof of concept solutions, some of which will turn into products.


You must possess an entrepreneurial mindset:
creative problem-solving, ability to work independently and also be a strong team-player.

Good communication skills are necessary to explain business problems succinctly and in a structured way to our in-house technology partners.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Develop quantitative and data science models together with CMQ team to drive product enhancement and data enrichment to innovate for debt and hedging and derivatives within Capital Markets
  • Identify and help to connect suitable and relevant internal / external real estate and loan databases to enrich the platform, including necessary data wrangling
  • Build prototypes/proof of concept solutions to generate bespoke solutions and ideas for our strategic clients
  • Proactive ideation of solutions to improve CM platforms, including independent, creative problemsolving to address technical challenges
  • Connect with main stakeholders of debt and derivatives business and technology partners to deliver impactful solutions to grow our debt capabilities.
  • Strong quantitative background in data science skills years' experience)
  • SQL, Python (or similar), Pyspark and Excel is essential
  • Knowledge of machine learning, interest rates derivatives, loan and debt valuation.
  • Solid project management and execution skills, experience working in autonomous and fastchanging environment
  • Prior experience in capital markets and investment banking will be highly relevant
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
