As a part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will do meaningful work. As a member of the Laboratory Plastic Essentials (LPE) business unit, the Commercial Manager (CM) will play a pivotal role in delivering customer-centric growth strategies that will both fulfill our customers and achieve our growth targets.
Representing the EMEA region, the CM thrives within a cross-functional team at the heart of the Business Unit. The CM is responsible for the content development and implementation to achieve revenue and annual growth targets. The CM analyzes their regional market needs with product and sales teams to develop lead an execution plan. The ability to analyze and respond to changes in business performance are essential. A team-oriented approach with positive relationships are required to recognize success.

- Develop a commercial plan to accomplish growth targets in coordination with internal sales and channel leadership
- Develop key performance indicators and maintains metrics to analyze performance and gaps
- Serve as the regional product contact for commercial and channel teams
- Make key customer visits to stay attuned to customer needs and segment trends
- Represent regional market/customer needs to product management in the development of new products and solutions
- Communicate regional need to supply chain for optimum product availability and inventory
- Handle and participate in regional tradeshows and sales meetings to facilitate growth objectives of the product line
Keys to Success:
**Education**
- 4-year college degree, preferable in Life Science or Business
**Experience**
- Experience in laboratory equipment or life science industry or related field (5 years minimum)
- Experience in direct sales and marketing (2 years minimum)
- Experience is selling through channels distribution model (3 years minimum)
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- English speaking, bilingual language skills a plus
- Validated eye for business with analytical skills to draw conclusions and observations from sales and market trends
- Validated excellence in oral and written communications skills, training, and public speaking experience a requirement
- Strong abilities in Microsoft Office, experience with Salesforce a plus
- Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills, with ability to operate independently
