THE TEAM

The Strategic Planning team, under the Marketing Strategy & Operations department, is dedicated to the coordination, planning, and execution of Eventbrite's marketing strategy and business planning. We strive for excellence in strategy coordination, planning, budgeting, OKR coordination, performance reporting, and strategic analysis to drive Eventbrite's growth.
THE ROLE

As a Marketing Strategy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing Eventbrite’s marketing strategy and planning processes. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across Marketing to coordinate budgets, set and track OKRs, define business-wide marketing frameworks and coordinate all the strategies developed by the marketing teams so they are aligned with the broader direction of the business and the Marketing Function. Your coordination and stakeholder management skills will be key for these deliverables. You will also analyze external trends and marketing channel performance to synthesize your findings into clear and concise story-telling and strategies for marketing and business leadership. A day in your role...

**Your day kicks off with a deep-dive into our marketing data**: you're comparing Eventbrite's performance against our OKRs, identifying trends, and building a report that will be sent to marketing leadership. You check a couple of hypotheses with the relevant marketing teams and once confirmed, you add them to the report together with the deliverables the teams are working on concerning the hypothesis. Your analytical prowess comes to the forefront as you sift through marketing channel performance, distilling complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

Mid-morning is dedicated to coordination— several meetings with stakeholders from across Marketing are on your agenda. Here, you discuss budget alignments, OKR tracking, and ensure that all marketing strategies are in sync with Eventbrite’s broader business goals. Your role as a coordinator and stakeholder manager shines as you navigate through these discussions, fostering a unified approach to marketing execution.

Post-lunch, your focus shifts to coordinating the annual marketing strategy. You're piecing together insights from various departments, aligning them with Eventbrite’s overarching goals. It's like assembling a complex puzzle, where each piece is vital to the big picture. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all teams are synchronized, from budget planning to strategic initiatives aimed at exploring new categories and revenue channels.

The day winds down with you drafting a report on theme and OKRs performance. This isn’t just about numbers; it’s about storytelling - turning data into compelling narratives that inspire and inform decision-making across the company. Before you log off, you take one last look at your planning for the upcoming OKR coordination session, ensuring that every detail is primed for a productive discussion.

**Responsibilities**:
Lead the coordination and execution of the annual marketing strategy and planning.

Manage the marketing budget coordination process to align with strategic priorities.

Facilitate the biannual OKR setting and tracking process, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Conduct monthly OKRs performance reporting, providing insights and recommendations.

Perform strategic analysis on an ad-hoc basis to support decision-making and strategy refinement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies are effectively implemented and results are achieved.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing strategy, analytics, or a related field, ideally within a consulting firm or high-growth tech company.

Strong analytical skills to analyze external trends and internal performance to pinpoint key insights.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and processes across multiple teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively in a remote environment.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
