Production Manager

**Job Purpose**

The Production Manager ensures the running of a production shift team such that the manufacturing programme is achieved efficiently within the framework of regulatory compliance and operating within high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection and good working practices. The PM also supports site manager on compliance activities and documentation on site with existing statutory and corporate standards in the area of regulatory compliance, cGMP, Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection.

**Major accountabilities**:
In addition to technician missions, major tasks include:

- To ensure that the raw materials used for the manufacturing process are always available in the right amount and properly store according their status
- To write down and to validate the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation
- To ensure the good traceability of productions operations (batch records, logbooks, etc.)
- To evaluate and sign production records.
- To ensure proper qualification and maintenance of the manufacturing department, premises and equipment
- To ensure proper validation of relevant processes
- To ensure appropriate initial and continuing training of the manufacturing department personnel
- To manage production staff (aid of production and technicians) including the staff planning
- To ensure that no recurrence of human error happen
- To manage the replanification in case of failure to mitigate the impact for the patient
- To improve continuously the performance through key performance indicator
- Management of production planning, maintenance, and waste material

**Minimum requirements**

**Obligatory requirements**:

- Education: Scientific Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in a high-tech production environment
- Radiation safety education Strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues
- Strong communication and team-working skills
- Open and clear collaboration and communication to make sure the daily production operation runs smoothly
- Exploitation of new technology and techniques to eliminate non-value adding activities and improve productivity / performance through new processes
- Capability to work under pressure
- Fluent English and Spanish, other languages are a plus
