The Site Engineer will lead local engineering projects in cooperation with global engineering as well as maintenance, calibration and qualification activities of Barcelona manufacturing equipment, utilities and facilities under GMP environment in order to establish consistent and GMP compliant production output while keeping down-time to a minimum and improving reliability over time.
- The Site Engineer also operates the site's Cyclotron(s) in accordance with established and engineering operating practices and procedures, follows timely the trending of available parameters and performs preventive and corrective interventions to support the best possible production outcome.**Major accountabilities**:

- Support and/or perform investigations / deviations from an engineering/maintenance perspective and own timely execution of resulting CAPAs in area of responsibility; Adhere to all applicable procedures, cGMPs, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.
- Manage local projects in alignment with global engineering.
- Improve and develop manufacturing processes using statistical and empirical data; Issue/revise SOPs and protocols related to the manufacturing facility and equipment and implement global changes as required
- Manage, plan and schedule compliant maintenance of utilities/facilities with third party service providers; Provide oversight and/or perform equipment and systems qualification/validation, own change controls and oversight / implementation for local projects.
- Manage / perform / plan and ensure manufacturing equipment preventive maintenance according to plan, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, calibration and environmental monitoring in compliance with technical standards, SOPs and applicable regulation.
- Manage procurement of spare parts and equipment in line with established processes, ensuring availability for planned maintenance and unplanned repair
- Exchange daily with the Cyclotron Engineer & Services Manager, Operations Manager, and the production team on the results of the night production and immediately report experienced difficulties or out of trending to Engineering & Service.
- Manage your on-call availability, your working time, your radioactive dose exposure, your stress, your substitution in case of absence as well as resources which you need for your missions. Alert Operations Manager and other responsible when experiencing difficulties.

**Minimum requirements**

**Obligatory requirements**:

- Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechatronics / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Automation technology / Nuclear Engineering & Physics
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
- Excellent artisanal experience in the use of tools and measurement devices
- Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office, VBA, CAD, etc.)
- Self-management/responsibility as well as the ability to solve problems under stress are your personal traits
- Must be able to adhere to all applicable procedures, cGMPs, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.

**Desirable requirements**:

- Knowledge on radioactive environment work as well as the capability to understand drawings and schematics of complex systems is beneficial.
