Location: Spain

Inchcape has recently completed the modernisation phase of its Digital Transformation, and as part of the value phase is looking to expand its IT Architecture team, responsible for supporting the planning, designing and development of the core products to support various lines of business.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing ISS’s products architecture. These products enable the Shipping Agency to perform the services to the customers.

What you’ll do:
The role holder defines how the solution options will be proposed, recommended, implemented, and managed by different stakeholders within IT & Business. The solutions must be self-healing, scalable, supportable, and cost-effective solutions that delivers business value. It must be aligned with IT Architecture, Products and Project Principles, Standards and Frameworks. The position will:

- Provide end to end solution designs and architecture at product/segment level keeping broad enterprise vision in mind.
- Collaboratively maintain & propose changes to the design, architectural and technology standards, principles, framework, guiderails.
- Ensure architectural standards, governance, principles are implemented effectively by auditing assigned IT programs, projects, products, and small works.
- Optimise IT deliverables for business value realization with reusability of solutions, architectural building blocks & components, designs, and through standardization.
- Review new & existing designs against architectural standards and principles.
- Ensure Business Impact Assessment, Business Continuity and DR processes are standardized, are resilience and are tested to meet the agreed business requirements.
- Assess new technology for better effectiveness and cost to value for a business problem.
- Lifecycle management from emerging technology from innovation to end of life.

Who You are:

- Experienced in providing solutions to Product features development.
- 10+ Years of experience in an IT Technical Lead position, Run / part of large sized global IT Architecture Team.
- Run / part of large sized global IT Architecture Team.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect with demonstrable history of using AWS services.
- Understanding the difference between Business and IT, being able to speak with both worlds effectively
- Practical experience with development using Microsoft.Net and.Net Core.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, development team roles, engineering processes.
- Practical experience of tools viz. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Test Rail, Sonar Cloud etc.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile, SAFe, ITIL etc)
- Experience in DevOps, Production Support.
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly adaptable, strong prioritization and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
