Cloud-solution Architect

We are looking for a
**Cloud Solution Architect** to work on a project in the Business Technology Consultancy industry through one of our Irish clients.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our customer is a leading services solution provider of almost 25 years with a passion for customer success. This entity is a Gold Microsoft Partner for over 10 years. Building on a sound foundation of strong collaborations with both Irish and international companies.

We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect with a consulting aptitude that has strong design and architecture experience working on large enterprise solutions. One of their engineering teams is in the early stages of the design and implementation of a solution that will positively affect every person in Ireland, and they need to augment their team with this person. We require a Cloud Solution Architect that has ambition, skill and passion for building native cloud solutions with the experience and results to prove it.

**What you will do**:

- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the engineering team in line with Cloud Well-Architected Frameworks.

- Support and design architectural solutions using a Cloud Well-Architected Framework.
- Leading the design of secure, scalable, multi-tenancy solutions based best practices for a Microservices architecture.

- Defining and implementing the DevOps strategy, tools, and processes (requires hands-on scripting).

**What you will bring**:

- 10+ years’ experience in software engineering.
- 3 years’ experience in Cloud Solution Architect or a similar role.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as code development (ARM / Bicep).
- Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies and services (Primarily Azure).
- Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Moderate/good knowledge of data warehousing, SQL/NoSQL databases.

**Nice to have**:

- Unquenchable curiosity, a passion for learning, and a constant desire for self-improvement.
- Clued into developments in tools/techniques such as Low Code Development Tools.

- Expert working knowledge about some/all of the tools -.NET, Web Api, Angular, Microservices, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Power BI.#.
