**Your Role & Responsibilities**
- Feed European market trends to the global Engineering road map.
- Develop intimacy with the European key account customers.
- Lead Acquisition process through benchmark, product strategy with Global engineering, and design to cost per acquisition metrics.
- Lead Europe Application development, Industrialization development, and Validation per customers’ requirements including Launches.
- Support Serial production for warranty management, material cost down, productivity improvements.
- Develop and allocate engineering resources and capability through test and engineering method capability, staffing, training and leadership development.
- Anticipate and Implement Regional customer system or design change (Layout, components, powertrain, and regulation) that lead to technical evolution.
- Develop plan and execute to beat competitors on critical acquisition.
**Your Skills & Strengths**
- Engineering degree with a Master’s degree or PhD in technical area and (preferably) business related specialization (i.e. MBA).
- Previous experience in the automotive sector.
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in product development.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience of regional leadership.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience with customer program execution.
- Fluent English and German, Spanish would be a plus.
