The role Chief Commercial Officer Reporting Chief Executive Officer Key tasks and responsibilities: We are looking for a top calibre Leader to drive our ecommerce business growth and to bring our business performance to the next level of excellence. Chief Commercial Officer, would be a natural and experience Leader with strong communication skills, able to lead large comercial team but also be involve in key operation decisión. Reporting CEO, CCO will be responsible for building and managing business performance of our e-commerce platform for brands, sellers. - CCO at Lazada is primarily concerned with ensuring the integrated commercial success of our e-commerce platform. The role will require a combination of strong technical skills with strong marketing, business development and negotiation skills. - Take ownership of the Brands and seller Acquisition and will be the Brand interface with the company’s product and service offering, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives. - Drive business strategy and performance for our Retail division, optimize the business performance. - Lead the customer experience, leading the teams in drafting, implementing and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable the company to achieve its long-term objectives. - Leadership: Deliver strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and infrastructure. Develop collaborative working relationships within the organization in pursuit of the of the company’s overall business goals. - Manage and lead both the Brand Partner and sellers teams and provide leadership and coaching to his/her subordinates in both cross-business unity and country counterparts. - Business Development: Develop a strategy and provide leadership for enterprise -wide business development opportunities. Originate and manage business development opportunities that are consistent with the company’s strategy for revenue growth - Be responsible for regular Top to Top initiatives to ensure solid foundational relationship with Global Brands.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor’s or Master degree in commercial finance/ Marketing/Economics or related fields. - 10-15 years in a Leadership role driving high calibre teams on the ground. - eCommerce and Retail experience is preferred. - Industry and/or Technology background a definite asset. - Demonstrated senior presence; strong project management skills including ability to collaborate with multi
- functional stakeholders. - Entrepreneurial attitude to quickly dive deep into content to determine root causes of problems and implement scalable solutions. - Strong analytical acumen and comfort with generating and evaluating metrics, forecasts, and analyses. - Excellent written and oral skills, strong organizational communication skills.
