**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**

As business development manager you will report to the Head of Europe & LATAM & Near East Business Development Head and you will be responsible for **monitoring the ITS market, prospecting new clients, building new relationships with customers and suppliers**, promoting ITS GMV products, building and submitting commercial offers and following leads until closing new business.
- ** Promotion of GMV Intelligent Transport Systems **for bus and rail in the international markets, with special focus on Europe, Middle East & Latin America.
- Active **monitoring of the ITS market**. Prospecting potential customers, identify their needs and generate and/or early detect leads related to GMV ITS products.
- Contribute to update and develop GMV’s knowledge base about the public transport market (key stakeholders, technology trends, competitor activities...) in private and public sector
- Contribute to defining the Business Development **strategy** in the focus regions and proactive push of GMV ITS Products with key stakeholders.
- Active Participation in international exhibitions and End-to-end **Commercial Proposal **Manager, managing the tender preparation activities, focus on customer evaluation criteria.
- Critical analysis of tender documentation and inquiries.
- ** Strategic Coordination and Management of tender documentation** to empathize with customer needs.
- Preparing inquiries for subcontractors and analysis of collected offers.
- Cooperation with the project implementation department in the definition of the most sensible techno-commercial approach to each project.
- Preparation of **commercial offers** for both public and private sector customers, coordinating the support from GMV’s other departments (Project, Product, CSM, legal, )
- ** Conducting negotiations **of commercial contract with customers and subcontractors.

**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**

We are looking for **experts in business development **with **background and interest in ITS field.**
- Experience as a Proposal Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Representative or Sales Support Engineer.
- Experience in supplying turnkey systems which comprise services, hardware and software.
- Languages: Spanish and English are a must.
- Effective negotiation skills to deal with different kinds of customers.

We will also value previous experience:

- Degree in STEM or Business.
- Experience in business development for Public Transport
- Experience in participating in public tender processes in different countries.
- Languages: German, Italian or French are well valued.
