Entravision Communications is based in the United States of America. The primary responsibility for this position is to properly integrate newly acquired companies into Entravision’s Global SOX Compliance Program. This involves ensuring SOX readiness for new acquisitions by performing risk assessment and scoping procedures, gap analysis, walkthroughs, (control test and narrative) documentation, design and implementation of controls, processes and testing to align with Entravision’s Global ICFR Framework. Once SOX readiness has been established this individual will be testing the controls each year for each round of testing for newly acquired companies, as well as testing controls for recent acquisitions.

This position will report to the Director of SOX through the Senior Manager Global SOX Compliance

**Responsibilities**
- Support the Director of SOX Compliance with the annual SOX plan, including risk assessment, scoping, scheduling, control testing, etc. primarily for the International business segments including newly acquired companies
- Drive SOX strategy improvements using the provisions in PCAOB AS 5 (mainly a top-down, risk based approach)
- Rationalize and optimize transaction level controls by leveraging automated, Management
- Review and Entity Level Controls
- Lead harmonization of policies & procedures impacting financial reporting
- Assume leadership role in the integration and standardization of business processes
- Proactively involved with process and control owners to avoid internal control design gaps created from changes or evolution of business process changes resulting from integration
- Support process owners with their responsibility to ensure operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, including maintaining current process documentation
- Plan testing of internal controls, including any necessary remediation identified during process design walkthroughs
- Assist with the testing of IT General Controls, including identifying in-scope systems, system access and segregation of duties (SOD) and coordination with internal and external resources
- Prepare SOX compliance and status reporting, including assessment of gaps and deficiencies
- Work with process owners to implement any remediation plans for deficiencies noted in test of design or operating effectiveness
- Collaborate with Senior Management to increase awareness, compliance and progress reporting
- Provide SOX expertise and training to Senior Management, process owners and personnel involved in financial reporting, including staying current with latest interpretations, best practices, etc
- Involved in the planning for any new financial reporting requirements, system implementations and/or acquisitions
- Provide knowledge of policies and procedures best practices and support adherence
- Assist with other compliance related projects and priorities, as necessary

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA/ CIA preferred
- At least 4 years of relevant accounting/audit experience
- Work experience with public accounting firm or U.S. public company is required and experience in the Media Entertainment industry will be advantageous
- Experience utilizing SOX and finance/accounting systems, Auditboard - SOXhub, Oracle (NetSuite) preferred
- Strong Excel skills and proficient with PowerPoint
- Solid foundation in accounting and audit in order to effectively assess risk and controls over financial reporting, specifically in the areas of: Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, internal control frameworks (COSO/COBIT) and audit methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written), audit documentation, analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills
- Works well with others, yet can work autonomously. Customer focused while always keeping the company’s best interest in mind, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
