What do we expect from you?

You will work within the area of Communication & Institutional Relations, with a secondary reporting line in Legal & Assurance (Regulatory).

You will be responsible to anticipate and keep track of EU policy and legislative developments impacting CEPSA, in the field of energy transition and climate change as well as horizontal issues (corporate law, reporting obligations, sustainable finances).

In a rapidly evolving policy environment, you will help positioning CEPSA among thought leaders at EU level and ensure it can implement its Strategy, maximizing opportunities, and minimizing threats.

**Functions**:
Public Affairs

Help raise CEPSA’s profile towards the EU (e.g. contribute to meeting programmes, seek media and speaking opportunities);
Establish and maintain a contact network, incl. with the new Parliament and Commission;
Represent CEPSA in associations and fora.

Policy / Regulatory agenda

Spot, keep track and inform of political and legislative developments affecting the company’s interests;
Assess impact, consolidate input from affected areas;
Help devising and executing action plans, incl. position papers, engagement plan and other lobby activities;
Participate in and inform of associations’ work;
What are we looking for?

A strategic thinker with proven experience in Public Affairs, with a sound understanding of Cepsa’s strategy including its transition to green molecules.
At least 5 years’ experience, in energy and climate regulation.
**Education**: Degree in law, politics, engineering.
**Languages**: High level of English, additional language such as French a plus.
Soft skills

Ability to extract relevant provisions in complex pieces of legislation.
Socially agile, comfortable in multicultural settings.

Prepared to live or be based a few days a week in Brussels.
