A private company in the communication and audiovisual sector is currently seeking a qualified Catalan Language Advisory and Proofreading Specialist to work between Palma and Calvià on the island of Mallorca. In your daily routine, you will collaborate closely with content creators and newsrooms to elevate linguistic consistency. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist linguistic guidance and advice in Catalan to editors, journalists, and media contributors.
- Reviewing, editing, and thoroughly proofreading scripts, reporting materials, and other media-specific documentation.
- Designing and writing concise educational micro-training capsules to help internal teams improve their language competence.
- Resolving daily grammatical, lexical, and stylistic doubts in real-time production workflows.
- A completed university degree in Catalan Philology (Grado en Filología Catalana).
- An accredited C2 Catalan language certificate, ensuring total mastery of the language.
- Essential prior professional experience in proofreading, style correction, or linguistic advising within communication environments.
- Your own vehicle and driving licence, ensuring reliable travel between work locations in Palma and Calvià.
- An indefinite, permanent employment contract (contrato indefinido).
- Full-time employment arranged in weekly rotating shifts.
- A gross salary of 2,347 EUR per month, structured according to the educational leisure collective agreement (convenio de ocio educativo). xghoner
