Overview:Based in Barcelona, collaborative and dynamic international teamHigh level proficiency in English and working rights in SpainFull time, continuing role€18,000 to €20,000 per annum salary rangeExisting work rights in Spain requiredRMIT Europe is seeking a Communications Assistant to support communication efforts to promote, leverage and amplify the University's agenda in Europe.You will be responsible for assisting with various communication projects and tasks, including but not limited to drafting and editing content for both print and online formats, creating and distributing communication materials, coordinating social media accounts, supporting internal and external event delivery and helping with the execution of campaigns.What will you be accountable for?Assist with content creation, scheduling and publishing in English, including websites, social channels, videos, infographics, fact sheets, posters, protocols, guides, slide kits and newsletters.Assist in the delivery of events including seminars, workshops, training programs and launches in multiple delivery formats (online, hybrid and in-person).Support in preparing reports and documentation and other administrative/operational tasks as required, such as purchase orders and supplier management.Other duties to support RMIT Europe as specified by the Senior Manager, Engagement and Communications.Let's talk about youExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high volume, changing environmentAttention to detail and the ability to maintain the accuracy of information from a variety of sourcesGood computer literacy across a wide range of programs and applications – online communications tools such as MailChimp, TypeForm, Canvas and experience in website content management systems would be advantageous (not mandatory)Completion of university studies in communications and/or event management related fieldsWho is RMIT Europe?We're the creative and dynamic European hub of RMIT University – a multi-sector university of technology, design, and enterprise with more than 91,000 students and 11,000 staff globally.
