Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Marketing and Communications Assistant Intern to join our team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager and Community Manager to gain experience in the marketing, communications, and market research field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Panel Community Management: Manage and maintain our online community, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for our members.
  2. Content Creation: Develop and implement content strategies across various channels, including social media, blog posts, and email newsletters.
  3. Marketing and Communications: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media advertising, event planning, and public relations.
  4. Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to provide valuable insights to our clients and inform business decisions.
  5. Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our community members, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  6. App Development: Collaborate with our development team to identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to our mobile app.
  7. Influencer Marketing: Identify and partner with influencers to promote our brand and services across the African continent.
  8. Analytics and Reporting: Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
Requirements
  1. Student in final year of Business, Communication, and/or Marketing studies.
  2. Strong interest in social media and content marketing.
  3. Ability to learn quickly and operate outside of your comfort zone.
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Strong work ethic, self-starter, integrity, and honesty.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French (desired).
  7. Availability for a minimum of 6 months from September 2024 onwards.
