Analyst / Associate - Infrastructure and Lending - Wholesale Bank
ING, Australia's most recommended bank is seeking an Analyst or Associate for our highly active Infrastructure and Lending business based in Sydney. You will work as part of a team to support the origination, execution and management of transactions across social, transport and regulated infrastructure and other sectors; spanning Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region.
ING operates a global Infrastructure Finance platform with teams located in Brussels, London, Madrid, Sydney and New York, with clients including the full spectrum of developers, corporates and investors.
You will report into Infrastructure and Lending departments, and given the size of the team you will quickly be given the opportunity to grow and develop by taking ownership of parts of different transactions in our existing and extensive pipeline.
What you'll do
Analyse prospective clients, projects and acquisitions
Write annual reviews and credit papers
Perform financial modelling and analysis of complex financial models
Provide external and internal process support across all phases of a new transaction
Conduct credit risk assessments and reviews
Analyse due diligence information and review documentation
Research and prepare market materials including client presentations
Conduct ongoing portfolio management and administration
What we're looking for
1-4 years' experience in a related role
Proficient in MS Excel and excellent numeracy skills
Relevant Bachelor's degree (additional professional qualification viewed favourably)
Credit risk analysis and financial modelling experience will be seen as highly advantageous
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise according to deadlines
A great attention to detail placing a high value on quality and accuracy
A collaborative and team-oriented mindset
