We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Analyst to join our Telecom, Media, and Technology & Healthcare sector team of Wholesale Banking at ING Bank N.V. The TMT & Healthcare sector team is one of the global specialist sector coverage teams at the heart of ING Wholesale Banking, providing banking services and complex financial solutions to telecommunication, media, entertainment, technology, satellite, and healthcare companies in the EMEA region, the Americas, and in Asia-Pacific.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Help build client relations and maintain continuous dialogue with industry leaders and sector participants.
• Maintain active contacts with other departments/disciplines within ING such as Corporate Finance, Loan Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Transaction Services, and Risk Management.
• Actively support deal generation, proactively contributing to the origination efforts of the team by preparing sector analyses, presentations, and pitch books.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating transactions in which ING acts as lead arranger.
• Safeguard high-quality and seamless execution of transactions.
• Deliver complex financial models, credit analyses, rating profiles, and peer group analysis and manage credit applications.
• Assess and review due diligence on clients in a dynamic sector.
• Assist in the negotiation of transaction documentation with our clients.
• Be actively involved in the syndication or coordination of transactions.
• Perform portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers, and amendments.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a pro-active professional with a strong personal drive, international experience, and the ability to operate in a highly demanding environment. You have a strong commercial drive and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
• Ambitious international professional with a Master's degree with above-average academic grades.
• 1-3 years of experience in the financial sector in an international transaction-driven environment (structured finance, leveraged finance, corporate finance).
• Excellent financial, modeling & analytical skills, eye for detail.
