About the Role
We are seeking a talented Analyst Wholesale Banking to join our Telecom, Media and Technology & Healthcare sector team of Wholesale Banking. As an Analyst, you will play a key role in the origination, structuring, and execution of transformational financial solutions for clients in the dynamic TMT & Healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build client relations and maintain continuous dialogue with industry leaders and sector participants.
- Maintain active contacts with other departments/disciplines within ING such as Corporate Finance, Loan Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Transaction Services, and Risk Management.
- Actively support deal generation, proactively contributing to the origination efforts of the team by preparing sector analyses, presentations, and pitch books.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating transactions in which ING acts as lead arranger.
- Safeguard high-quality and seamless execution of transactions.
- Deliver complex financial models, credit analyses, rating profiles, and peer group analysis and manage credit applications.
- Assess and review due diligence on clients in a dynamic sector.
- Assist in the negotiation of transaction documentation with our clients.
- Be actively involved in the syndication or coordination of transactions.
- Perform portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers, and amendments.
Requirements
- Ambitious international professional with a Master's degree with above-average academic grades.
- 1-3 years of experience in the financial sector in an international transaction-driven environment (structured finance, leveraged finance, corporate finance).
- Excellent financial, modeling & analytical skills, eye for detail.
- Ability to understand the preferences and needs of the client, focusing on solutions.
- High level of self-motivation and professional approach.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player.
- Strong project management and deal execution skills.
- Standard computer skills, focusing on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbally and written.
