In this role you will work closely with the Media Solutions and Strategy teams and be a key partner to stakeholders driving commercial initiatives.A successful candidate will be a self-starter with prior experience in enabling solid business decisions through financial insights, meaningful analysis and reporting as well as business partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
You will also maintain and evolve financial business models to help visualize key PL impacts and support the decision-making process.What you'll do:Provide analytical support on strategic projects allowing to grow adoption of our Lodging supply and Media Solutions productsParticipate in a variety of strategic projectsDistil complex financial data into impactful and actionable commercial insightsProactively partner with business stakeholders to better understand Risks OpportunitiesAnalyze business trends and investigate variances versus expectationsDevelop financial business cases to support investment decisionsContribute to the broader team cross-functional deliverablesWho you are:Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science) or equivalent related professional experience2/3+ years of relevant experienceHigh level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvementStrong interpersonal skillsResults driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and smallWell organized, very independent and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within challenging timelinesAbility to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences to drive better decision-makingComfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentHighly proficient with SQL, Excel, PowerPointWilling to learn Tableau, PythonAbout Expedia GroupExpedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
