Some of our local brands have been in consumers' kitchens for over a century and have positioned themselves as authentically loved brands, as well as deeply rooted parts of the local culture.Today, with a turnover of around 1.4 billion euros and a team of around 3,600 people, we are the preferred choice of millions of consumers.We are now looking for an Import & Export Logistics Technician to join our passionate Import/Export and Logistics team in the Global Operations Business Unit. Based in our headquarters office in Barcelona, the selected candidate will play a key role in managing the import-export process from transport to final destination under the Global Business Unit.About the Role:Responsible for sending raw materials and final products from the company's different factories to other factories or clients located in different countries and regions from the origin. The Import - Export Logistics Technician will stay in contact with the Planning department to coordinate availability according to the Supply Chain established needs. Responsible for managing all the import - export process (transportation to final destination). In charge of booking freight with operators and coordinating the maritime transport from the port to the country of destination. Together with Global Procurement, ensure the supply of materials from its purchase or production to final destination, optimizing cost and service to guarantee the quality and integrity of the stock.Responsibilities:Management of import and export trade operationsProcess legal exemptions, allowances and regulatory licenses as well as other government approvals for import and export operationsProcess management and verification of import - export customs clearancesManage supply according to supply chain needsDocumentary and administrative managementNegotiation with suppliers and/or internal stakeholdersMaintain a close relationship between agents, transporters and merchandisers to guarantee total visibility of import and export movementsLogistics planning and managementRequirementsCompetences or skills:Problem solvingAbility to manage multiple tasksCommunication skills (oral and written)Organization and planningAbility to work under pressureQualifications:ESCI - UPFInternational Business Economics or TradeFluent English and Spanish both spoken and written (C1), other languages are a plus3 years of experience in maritime transport and foreign tradeOffice package: Excel, PowerPointPower BI will be valuedExperience managing SAPExperience working in other food companies is valued#J-18808-Ljbffr
