A leader in the payments industry, Elavon provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than one million merchants around the world.If you want to make a difference in your life, your community and your world, join us at Elavon.We know our company is only as strong as our people, and we are committed to your professional growth and success.Elavon is part of the U.S. Bank family, a diverse workplace, where we celebrate the individuality of each member of our global team.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Responsible for conducting credit reviews on corporate mid-tier cases.Engage in negotiations with customers and RM's, making recommendations/decisions regarding onboarding new customers or additional facilities for existing ones.Responsible for credit recommendations on cases with risk exposures between €100,000 and €750,000.Meet customer's tight onboarding deadlines and effective time management.Investigate and analyze credit risk.Prepare trigger reviews for customers and negotiate collaterals if applicable.Monitor customer accounts to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss.Maintain control over the credit standings of accounts and furnish information relative to credit inquiries, as appropriate.Essential Functions:Investigate, review and interpret all available sources of credit and financial information including reporting services, credit bureaus, financial statements and management information.Coordinate relationships between Relationship Managers, internal stakeholders and partners to facilitate the onboarding of new customers or facilities for existing ones.Provide credit information and references for customers, Relationship Managers, Management, or other agencies as requested.Work closely with Fraud, Collections and other business units to minimize risk and potential loss.Build strong and positive relationships, sharing understandings and best practices with other business areas of Elavon.Assist management in ensuring that the Credit Policy is adhered to by all related parties.Work closely with the CDD team when onboarding a new customer to ensure deadlines are met.Technical Skills/Competencies:Ability to analyze complex financial statements and interpret key financial benchmarks.Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of risk including liquidity risk and macroeconomic risk.Sound understanding of card scheme requirements and the effects on Elavon and our customers.Report writing.Service Excellence.Innovation and Change, Problem Solving / Decision Making.Personal Impact / Performance Climate, Relationship / Partnership Approach, Team Building/Team Player.Technical skills and knowledge.Communication skills.Understanding and awareness of the financial services industry, particularly the credit card industry.Strong analytical ability.Good MS Excel skills.Strong written and spoken English is a requirement of this role.Preferred:Finance qualification, ideally full or part CIMA / ACCA / ICM qualified.Other languages (German, Norwegian, Polish) are desirable.Benefits:We offer an exciting, fast-paced and diverse working environment with employees of many different nationalities.
