We are looking for:
Contract Electrical Commissioning Engineers / Managers to join our team in Europe: Germany, Spain, Turkey or Portugal.
We are looking for contractors and EU Citizen.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing the entire electrical building commissioning process
Developing commissioning plans, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts for electrical systems
Development and third-party buy-in into project certification strategies specific to electrical components
Recording detailed progress prerequisites for electrical systems
Routine population and management of data in our project management software, with a focus on electrical aspects
Undertaking and reporting inspections and tests related to electrical systems
Assisting in the development of design and commissioning documentation for tender and construction purposes, emphasizing electrical elements
Attending project and internal meetings as needed, representing the electrical commissioning perspective
Arranging test instrumentation with a specific focus on electrical systems
Assisting in the development of tender submissions with an emphasis on electrical requirements
Supporting projects during client discussions of a technical nature related to electrical components
Reviewing technical papers/reports related to mechanical systems before publication
Working closely as part of a general contractor's team to develop commissioning strategies and processes aligned with project objectives, with a focus on electrical aspects
Undertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals, and technical submittals related to electrical systems
Managing detailed recording of meetings, particularly those involving electrical commissioning discussions
Providing routine progress reporting and final project close-out reports with a focus on electrical systems
Managing attendance and reporting of factory tests for electrical components
Arranging third-party sign-off as necessary for electrical systems
Providing technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risk related to electrical aspects
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of commissioning experience
Individual drive, enthusiasm, and high attention to detail
Detailed technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Creativity and an ability to problem-solve quickly
Multi-tasking abilities
Being task and deadline focused
Ability to work collaboratively
Ability to consistently produce high-quality project work
Preferred Qualifications:
A commissioning professional as certified by an accredited agency
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Professional Engineer preferred
Data Center commissioning experience
Commissioning certification preferred (CxA, CCP, BCxP, or CBCP)
Have one or more specific, relevant, technical expertise
Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Trace or IES
Preference given to local candidates
