As the leader in secure multi-cloud data management, over 80,000 customers – including 91% of the Fortune 100 – rely on Veritas to help ensure the protection, recoverability, and compliance of their data.Veritas has a reputation for reliability at scale, which delivers the resilience its customers need against the disruptions threatened by cyberattacks, like ransomware.The Enterprise Sales Engineer, Italy and Spain is focused on working with a set of assigned accounts and territory to obtain closure and manage technical risk on new business.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides a level of technical expertise and technical closure for a specific solution within assigned accounts and territories.Recognised within the team as the subject matter expert across Backup Exec, Data Compliance & Governance, and InfoScale.Maintain product/solution expertise of market trends in aligned technology including detailed understanding of the competition.Provide high level solution design for information management.Be able to present the company's technical vision and offering strategy to all levels across the customer internally and externally e.g. technical or business leads.Own the delivery of technical briefings for solutions and products for external and internal customers/partners including proof of concepts/demonstrations when required.Maintain key relationships/contacts within the Sales, TSS customers, and Partners.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEProven track record of building and maintaining excellent customer relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.Ability to map company's offerings against customer needs and to identify new opportunities within Spain and Italy.Consistent proven achievement against goals or targets.Understands the importance of driving the technical sales lifecycle.Has understanding of operational cadence in their specific areas.Ensures operating within compliance from a process, legal and revenue recognition.Presents themselves in a professional manner, being a representative of their organisation.Fluency in Italian and/or Spanish and English languages.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSComes from an IT background working within a world class software organisation.Technical Sales experience in Data Compliance, Data Resilience, and Data Protection.Knowledge of VMware, Oracle DB, Cloud Architectures, and Big Data Architectures is preferred.External qualification/industry certification e.g. CISSP, SNIA, ITIL, SANS GIAC, CISA, CISM.Degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT related subject and/or specific industry related experience.At Veritas, we care about the causes close to your heart and enable you to volunteer, donate, and do good.
