You will be responsible for supporting the operations side of this branch. This is a great opportunity that will challenge you in all the right ways.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and process export documentation for accounts.Must have a better than average understanding of the Export Regulations or other government agency regulations that govern exports.Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, customers and agents in a timely manner.Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source best method of transportation.Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation.Continue to explore different options to reduce cost, and increase revenues.Track and trace shipment and provide updates to clients and sales.Uphold a strong and professional relationship with ocean intermediaries, transportation agencies and sales.Will report to the Operations Manager.Demonstrate an emphasis on customer satisfaction per company policy.Perform other duties as assigned.Must be able to work on site at Castelldefels (Barcelona), this is not a remote role.Preferred QualificationsEducation in higher degree in International Trade / Transportation and Logistics.1-3 years experience with freight forwarder or import/export agency.Required professional level of English.Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate PC skills - MS Office.Highly organized.We offerJoining the leading transportation company in Europe.Continuous training.Full-time contract.Temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.Salary based on experience.Start date: Immediate#J-18808-Ljbffr
