Our current portfolio consists of diagnostic devices, monofocal and premium IOLs, viscoelastics, and surgical lasers.
Pricing is competitive and our structure allows us to be flexible and creative in commercial strategies.We are looking for a General Manager; the main task will be to set up a strategy and implement it together with the Executive team in order to achieve company targets.As a General Manager, you will have a key role within the company and will influence every decision to align the organization commercially and generate a consistent and sustainable growth strategy.
The General Manager will be leading the Executive Team and will take part in some of the Executive meetings.
Also, you could be sporadically called to present in front of the Board of Directors.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBuild, together with the CEO, a realistic but ambitious plan for Iberia (Spain + Portugal).Manage the PL and achieve company financial targets.Recruit and manage the team under your responsibility.Set up a friendly but useful reporting structure from the field to HQ.Support the sales team with key accounts.Establish common strategies with partners.Provide leadership and direction to a team of people.Manage operations and finances of the business.Recruit and train new hires on business practices.Drive development of employees.Ensure that the quality of work or service is maintained.ESSENTIAL SKILLSThe following 5 skills are essential for this job and the expected growth of the company and the candidate to a higher position within the organization.Independence: ability to work and develop a business without micromanagement.Multi-tasking: technical sales, OR presence, marketing vision.Trust building: AST must be successful in developing long-term relationships and helping our customers to grow.Passion: Customers don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it.Generate a productive atmosphere within the sales team.EDUCATIONDegree in business or health related subject.
Essential.EXPERIENCEAt least 7 years in the industry.
Essential.Experience in premium ophthalmology surgical procedures.
