Tasks and ResponsibilitiesManage complex projects/programs (multiple targets, phase II and phase III, over 10M Eur annual budget).Coordinate with Project Leader defining the strategic plans and scenarios internally and with the partner.Provide inputs to the strategic discussions within the team and the Project Leader.Act as back-up of the Project Leader when needed.Monitor and analyze project critical path, timelines, budget expenses and actions to meet project goals.Look beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems in areas critical to the achievement of objectives.Ensure delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.Anticipate, identify, and promptly resolve discrepancies in priorities, plans and activities.Bring analytical thinking to the team discussions, particularly in cross-functional issues.Manage project communication, set agendas, facilitate meetings, develop minutes, and ensure right distribution of project information in the organization.Facilitate team dynamics in coordination with the Project Leader (System Coach).Report and present project plans, risk management activities and budget aspects to decision-making bodies.Develop the budget and regular forecasts of the project (annual, 5YF, Long term).Lead the process to access public funding of all or part of the project.Coordinate project due diligence with possible partners.Oversee BD&L development plans.Coordinate, mentor and advise Project Managers and Project Manager Associates.Ensure proper Alliance management of the project, from candidate to phase II stage and collaborate with Corporate Alliance manager from phase III onwards.Participate in all activities within the R&D Project, Portfolio, Partnership Excellence Department as required.Contribute to the regular R&D Portfolio Review exercise.Maintain and exploit R&D productivity benchmarking data.Internal Contacts: All R&D organization, Outside R&D (Marketing including New Product Planning, GMA, Market Access and Industrial Area), Committees (R&D Scientific Committee, R&D Portfolio Committee, Management Board IEC).External Contacts: Partners of in-licensed products (prior to MAA/NDA) and of out-licensed projects, Government, public administration, Project advisors.Education:Bachelor's or Ph.D. degree in biomedicinal or scientific careers.Certification in Project Management (achieved or working to achieve it).Values:Care: We listen & empathize, we value diverse perspectives & backgrounds and we help each other succeed.Courage: We challenge the status quo, we take full ownership and we learn from our success & failures.Innovation: We put the patient and customer at the center, we create novel solutions and we empower entrepreneurial mindsets.Simplicity: We act decisively and avoid over-analysis, we understand why before we act and we are agile & keep things simple.#J-18808-Ljbffr
