PARA QUÉ LE BUSCAMOS
At Rheinmetall Expal, we are looking for a new Program Manager for the R&D department for our Madrid headquarter. Our subsidiary in Spain is dedicated to the manufacture of ammunition and weapons, specializing in artillery ammunition, mortars and medium caliber cartridges. In Spain alone, we have 7 plants distributed throughout the country, which have a state-of-the-art production network that supplies more than 60 countries.
The main functions of the position will be:
- Technical authority for a new project in the Research & Development (R&D) defense area
- Managing functional projects across different geographical areas
- Analyze and approve/reject proposals for engineering changes, PCI
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams during the project and product life cycle
- Evaluate the status and monitor the development of the project
- Make recommendations and improvement initiatives
- Responsible for preparing product documentation
**Location: Av. del partenón, Madrid.**
QUÉ DEBE APORTAR
- 10+ years experience in managing complex cross-functional projects across different geographical areas and various internal and external organisations
- Experience in contract negotiation for technical design and development deliverables
- Experience in the defence industry
- Excellent project planning skills
- Willingness to travel in Europe
- Fluent English skills (B2)
- Advantageous: Experience in the aerospace industry, German language
