About this role: In this role you will build and maintain relationships with (potential) franchise stores of chain partners in Spain. The majority of the effort goes into the (1) acquisition of new stores that are part of franchise chains and (2) leading them towards success on the platform (account management). You will be doing visits and calls to acquire and manage franchise stores within the Grocery, Convenience & Retail segment. In short, you start with individual franchisees and will work towards HQ deals bringing our business, and your own career within sales, to the next phase of growth. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Manage key strategic accounts in the grocery and retail sectors, negotiating and closing contracts effectively. Develop and negotiate technology solutions to integrate partners into the platform, ensuring seamless collaboration and success. Actively pursue deals with franchise stores through in-person visits, phone calls, and emails, serving as both the hunter and the farmer in the sales process. Build early success stories with franchise stores to set an example and facilitate the conversion of additional franchisees and their headquarters. Exceed sales targets by generating leads, prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing, and implementing sales opportunities. Attend trade fairs and engage in networking activities within the retail sector to expand connections and opportunities. Be a driven, positive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the company's growth journey. What will you bring to the table? Someone who is driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in sales roles, preferably in field sales and/or account management. You are results oriented, motivated to get the best out of yourself and out partners. Good negotiation and communication skills. You are always looking to close deals and build key relationships. Able to work independently, but also a team player. You have a driver's licence and live in the area (or closeby).
