This team is highly respected in the field of health economics, and epidemiology for quality and innovation, undertaking consultancy projects for international clients in both the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.The candidate will be required to support the team, in taking senior managerial responsibility for the department. In addition, the candidate recruited for this role will be expected to utilise their skills in systematic reviews and/or evidence synthesis to contribute to all aspects of the department's work as well as supporting the development of the team globally.What you will do/What you will needRecognize the importance of, and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs.Lead, manage and quality check high quality delivery of evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects for clients to time and budget including (but not limited to): indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, survival/statistical analyses.Provide strategic and technical expertise both to clients and internally, demonstrating experience across state-of-the-art methods in evidence synthesis including deterministic and Bayesian network meta analyses.Proficiency in statistical packages for evidence synthesis including WinBugs/OpenBugs, R.Understand the role of evidence synthesis within the HTA processes and support preparation HTA submissions.Develop study designs and analytic plans to answer research questions.Lead development of qualitative and/or qualitative analysis plans for evidence synthesis including network meta-analysis, literature review, statistical analysis and generate reports fit for client submission.Lead development of deliverable document outline and format.Support other project activities as needed, complete internal documentation and quality-check the work of others
