At Soly Spain, we are looking for a Country manager to join our mission-driven team.

About us
Soly is a pioneering Clean Energy Tech company on a mission to democratize solar energy. Founded in 2013, we're driven by the vision of making sustainable energy accessible to all. With operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, South Africa, the UK, Italy, and now expanding to Spain, we're looking for a dynamic Country Manager to spearhead our Spanish market launch in 2024.

The Role
As the Country Manager for Spain, you'll play a pivotal role in introducing the Soly brand to the Spanish market, driving our mission forward. Your goal: to make Soly a leading name in solar energy for residential and small commercial clients across Spain.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Launch, expand, and scale Soly's operations in Spain, building a dedicated team to support growth.
Partnership Development: Act as Soly's primary representative in Spain, cultivating strategic partnerships to bolster our market presence.
Operational Excellence: Manage the P&L, ensuring operational efficiency while delivering unparalleled service to our residential customers.
Performance Monitoring: Independently assess performance against company targets, contributing insights and strategies for growth.
Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with all functional teams to align efforts and spearhead initiatives that enhance the customer experience.

Your profile
Over 5 years' experience in fast-paced environments (consulting, investment banking, startups, or scale-ups).
Demonstrated success in scaling consumer-focused businesses.
A natural leader with the ability to inspire and influence across functions.
Analytical and strategic, with a hands-on approach to developing business insights.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for sustainability and renewable energy.

About Soly
Soly is an international Clean Energy Tech company with a mission to make solar energy available to everyone. The company was founded in the summer of 2013 by brothers Patrick and Milan van der Meulen. The brothers were inspired at a young age by Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" and have since decided to use their entrepreneurship 'As a force for good'. The company is today one of the European market leaders in the field of decentralized energy generation and storage through solar panels, batteries and charging stations. Soly focuses on the residential and business markets and is active in the Netherlands, South Africa (2019), Belgium (2022), Germany (2023) the United Kingdom (2023), and Italy (2024). By developing its proprietary software platform, Soly is one of the most capital-efficient energy providers with only 140 employees across six countries.
