col-wideJob Description:The Business Planning, Trading & Insights team is responsible for providing a consolidated view of ongoing Disney+ trading performance, driving insights and decision-making to optimize sign-ups and subscriber growth, and overseeing the Disney+ annual and quarterly planning process. It works closely with the brand marketing team, the Acquisitions & Retention team, the regional Trading and Analytics teams, the Business Development & strategy team, as well as Finance and Analytics teams across the region. The purpose of the role is to ensure we have well-defined and socialized targets for sign-ups, marketing budgets, retention, and other key DTC metrics, both for the long term and to guide the business on an annual, quarterly, weekly, and daily basis. This role will leverage strategic thinking, the ability to pull insights from Disney+ data, market intelligence, research, and analytics, to synthesize them and define the most appropriate plans for the DTC business.This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.**The Opportunity & Responsibilities**:- Leading development of D+ annual strategy and planning, leveraging market and competitor insights, learnings from D+ research and past performance- Driving annual and quarterly planning for EMEA & markets (sign-up, subs targets and marketing budget), working closely with marketing and finance teams- Continuously improve daily, weekly and quarterly dashboards / reports, ensuring their quality and accuracy, and making sure these are distributed on time to relevant stakeholders- Conducting deep-dive analyses on drivers of performance for the past quarter, identifying challenges & opportunities, and proposing / coordinating action plans- Leverage numerous analyses carried out by the Regional and other country teams to draw conclusions and define actions with potential to impact the Spanish and Portuguese Disney+ businesses- Supporting in preparation for EMEA & US execs updates- Responsible for providing data driven consultation to the commercial team by analyzing data and deriving insights that will equip the commercial team in maximizing revenue- Collaborate with and support commercial team in client-specific proposals, using data driven insights to persuasively communicate offerings and unique value-proposition- Support in carving out a revenue generation strategy for the service by providing data driven insights on the performance, market factors and industry trends**The Experience & Skills We Require From You**:- 8-10 years of total experience in Business Planning/ Strategy / Analytics roles- Experience in using data analytics / business intelligence platforms (e.G. Tableau, Looker)- Fluency both in Spanish and English is a must- Exposure to the media industry will be preferred- Experience in consulting and/or in a similar Planning position in a digital business is preferred.- High numeracy and analytical ability & rigour- Strategic mindset and business acumen- Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.- Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.- MBA is preferred- Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Science is desired
