Enterprise Architect

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of an organization's enterprise-wide technology infrastructure.
You will also be responsible for aligning technology strategy with business goals, ensuring consistency and interoperability of systems, and managing the overall architecture of the enterprise.
The Enterprise Architect catalogs, develops, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Enterprise Architecture Models, Representations, Initiatives, Capabilities, and Standard Components used by the Enterprise to perform all business and technology related activities.
Key Responsibilities : Strategy Alignment : Ensure that IT strategy and architecture align with the organization's business strategy and objectives.Identify opportunities to leverage IT to enhance business capabilities. Blueprint Development and Implementation :Create a comprehensive EA blueprint that describes the current architectural landscape, as well as a future state that supports business objectives.Develop roadmaps to transition from the current to the future state.Design and oversee implementation of the enterprise-wide technology solutions that support business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.Participate in the planning and execution of technology selection, procurement, and implementation projects.Provide leadership and drive resolution of inter-program and inter-project issues.Oversee the integration of new technologies and applications into the existing IT infrastructure.Update and maintain key Enterprise Architecture deliverables. Standards and Guidelines :Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, standards, and guidelines.Document and maintain a repository of architecture artifacts.Continuously assess and refine the EA practice, methodologies, and processes.Foster a culture of innovation and encourage the exploration of new architectural approaches and solutions.Facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.Ensure that projects adhere to these standards to maintain consistency and coherence across the IT landscape. Stakeholder Engagement :Engage with various stakeholders, from senior-level executives to IT teams, to gather requirements and ensure buy-in for architectural decisions.Facilitate communication between business and IT units.Facilitate ongoing communication and publicity efforts for the Enterprise Architecture within both the information technology community and various business units.Governance and Risk Management : Implement architecture governance processes and structures, such as Architecture Review Boards.Review projects for architectural alignment and compliance, and manage exceptions.Assist with change management processes to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new architectures or technologies.Monitor the impact of changes on the enterprise architecture.Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure architecture supports security, compliance, and other risk management requirements. Technology Evaluation and Selection :Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline technology infrastructure.Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and solutions.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and ensure the enterprise architecture remains modern and future-proof.Capacity and Performance Planning : Ensure that the architecture supports scalability, resilience, and performance requirements.Monitor the performance of IT systems and recommend improvements. Specific FocusDefine and implement a data strategy and roadmap working closely with business domains.Define policies and establish standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing, and formatting data.Work with business and IT leadership to define and document the data architecture for enterprise data assets.Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions.Provide direction and guidance in the implementation of data warehouses, marts, cubes, lakes and universes to support analytic and reporting needsLead efforts to implement a reference data and master data management strategy in close collaboration with Data & Performance team.Design and develop end to end robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture.Launch and support new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal customersPrototype new technologies and implement innovative solutions to enable teams to consume and understand data faster. Qualifications :Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar. Master's degree preferred.Extensive experience in IT architecture design, implementation, and management.In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or others.Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technology solutions with business strategies.Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and techniques.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and constraints.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.Project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives.Experience with cloud-based architectures, enterprise-level applications, and integration technologies, such as for example such as : Amazon Web Services (AWS).5+ years of working as an Enterprise Architect and minimum of 10 years working in IT and technology role.Ability to architect and build an end to end data platforms with hands-on experience in enterprise scale data warehousing, data architecture, and / or data engineering environments.Experience of designing, implementing, and building pipelines (ETL) that deliver data with measurable quality under the SLA.Must have knowledge of database technologies (HANA, Snowflake, Oracle, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Hive, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc.and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.). Knowledge of Data Management, Integration and Data Quality tools spanning No-code, low-code and code-first methodologies, such as : Alteryx, Trifacta, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Cloud, Databricks etc.Knowledge of Master Data Governance / Management technologies (e.g SAP MDG, Reltio)Experience of real-time / near real-time / event driven microservices solutions and Database Migration and replication services such as AWS DMS, Qlik replicate.Strong understanding of core infrastructure components (servers, network, storage).Experience with Enterprise Data Governance, Big Data Solutions, Master data management, Data Privacy and Security, Machine Learning, and Data Pipeline Operations.Experience with building analytic solutions applicable to Sales, Finance, Product, Supply Chain and Marketing organizations in an enterprise.Experience implementing operational best practices such as monitoring, alerting, metadata management.Experience managing, measuring, improving data quality in a data warehouse.
