.Position: Billing SpecialistDepartment: FinanceReporting to: Director, Special Projects - Global BillingLocation: Madrid, SpainRole type: Full time, Hybrid, PermanentRole OverviewIPC's Finance Team is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist for our Madrid, Spain office. This role involves direct interaction and communication with various teams within IPC, including Sales, Project Managers, RRG, Credit and Control, and Controllers groups. To be successful, the candidate must be organized, thorough and accurate in their work with strong attention to detail and work efficiency.Responsible for validating support and system data to accurately book new Installation and Subscription type projects in SFDC.Initiate initial milestone billing from PM Portal, ensuring all milestones are correctly reflected in PM Portal, and working with Operations and IT to resolve any issues.Manage and process milestone billing events, initiated by PM's, in Oracle Cloud, Contract Management module and ensure delivery of invoices to customers.Control the processing of Installation project Change Orders, including verifying approval, validating accurate updates to Contract in Oracle Cloud and managing billing to customer.Responsible for delivery of all invoices processed and upload to 3 rd party purchasing platforms (i.E., Ariba, Coupa) when applicable.Manage updates of ITM file for invoicing informationValidate taxes are properly applied to invoices and work with Tax department on any tax concernsProcess credits and billing adjustments as needed.How You Will Make an ImpactEnsure files needed to assist with audit requests are saved on shared drive and provided as needed.Work with CRM and Collections teams to assist with resolving various billing inquiries or customer disputes. Escalate when necessary to settle in a timely manner.Coordinate with Sales and IT to ensure required documentation is acquired and system discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.Maintain Booking checklists for all new bookings and save electronically.Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in the Role5-7 years Billing experience preferably with an understanding of revenue recognition in a similar industryAdvanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivots, tables, etc.)Excellent organizational aptitude and high attention to detailHigh level of initiative, follow up and follow through skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with ability to multi-task and prioritize workloadStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsRecognize priority and demonstrate responsiveness and a sense of urgencyUnderstanding when to escalate issues internallyDesired Sills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree a plusExperience with Oracle Cloud is very valuableExperience with Ariba systems is valuablePLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN ENGLISHWhat's in It for You?At IPC, your compensation is only part of the package
