We are looking for an experienced Group Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the operational business and drive the company's financial strategy planning.
The Group Director of Finance contributes to the overall success of the group by effectively managing all operational financial tasks of the organization.
When holding this role, overseeing all regional financial aspects of the company strategy is part of your responsibility, as well as maintaining the flow of financial information to the VP Finance, CEO and Group Directors.
This role will be based in Barcelona.This is what you're going to doManaging our Regional Finance teams, including Purchasing and Cost ControlDevelop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and proceduresOverseeing and controlling business unit budgets of the hotels, restaurants and management companiesEnsure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirementsInterpret the company's financial results to all stakeholders involved and recommend improvement activitiesCompile key business metrics and report on them to all stakeholders involvedMonitor development of newly acquired projects and guide the transition process to incorporate the project into the organizationBuilding and monitoring the budget on a monthly basisThis is what makes your new job challengingYou work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
