Position overview: The role of the Senior Commercial Manager is to lead commercially and strategically important accounts in Spain and Portugal, both with existing and new potential customers, maximising all opportunities to drive profitable growth and ensuring efficiencies across all our touch points.
This role will be delivering best in class customer meetings and building customer relationships with key personnel and functions and ensuring all our internal touchpoints are giving the highest level of customer service to major accounts, engaging with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver this.
Position is the expert in the customers market and understands their environment and proactively work with them to drive collaborative and engaging relationships.
Key responsibilities include: Managing our accounts for the company and P&L delivery alongside the Commercial Director Lead and support in the negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring effective KPI driving commerciality Networking within these accounts in order to secure all business opportunities and devise account strategy with Commercial Director and Global teams Ensuring internal company functions work to deliver highest customer service Holding regular monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholders Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by customers Taking a proactive approach to customer management and be in proficient in Sp&Pt market trends Work with Commercial Director to devise and implement sales strategy Setting key performance indicators internally and externally Embrace and lead the delivery of packaging sustainability in these customers Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate What are we looking for?
Degree-level in a Commercial or Business discipline/ or relevant expert experience in this field Previous strong experience in Sales or customer supply chain management in FMCG/Packaging/Retailing with a proven track record Expert knowledge in account management Some knowledge of sustainability practices P&L Management Native Spanish & Fluent English, Portuguese would be a plus Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
