A vacancy for an Aerostructures Commercial Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Seville.
The aerostructures programme is looking for a commercial manager.
The aerostructures programme line serves both internal programmes and external customers.
The commercial manager is focused on acquiring new business in the external aerostructures market, in line with the programme line strategy.
Due to the singularity of the aerostructures programme within Airbus DS, the commercial manager has a scope ranging from early business development to final offer delivery to the customer.A high level of autonomy and proactivity is expected from the job holder.
The job holder must be able to efficiently network with current and new customers, as well as manage a bid in a structured and disciplined manner.
The responsibilities of the job holder can be summarised as follows:Business Development: Recurrent market assessmentIdentification of opportunities in line with aerostructures strategyIdentification of market trends to provide feedback to R&T and R&D roadmapCustomer relationship managementBid Management: Lead and coordinate the offer preparation, from bid strategy to final validation of the offerEnsure alignment of all involved stakeholders, manage the bid plan and associated budgetResponsible for the completeness and exhaustiveness of all documentation required for internal approvals and external requirements by the customerResponsible for technical aspects (technical solution and feasibility) as well as commercial aspects of the offer (price, T&C, risks, etc.
)Ensure all requirements for approval are met, including export authorisations and compliance assessmentsBuild, update, and maintain the offer business case in close alignment with FinanceIn terms of skills, competence and experience, the applicant should:Be educated to degree level in Economics, Engineering, MBA or equivalent military degreeCommunicate in English and Spanish fluentlyIdeally speak French fluentlyHave excellent interpersonal skillsHave an analytical and creative mindHave an entrepreneurial mindsetBe experienced in the aerostructures business, ideally in programme management and/or commercial/sales environmentThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Defence and Space SAUContract Type: Permanent Contract / CDI / Unbefristet / Contrato indefinidoExperience Level: Professional / Expérimenté(e) / Professionell / ProfesionalJob Family: Sales, Marketing & Commercial ContractsAt Airbus, we support you to work, connect, and collaborate more easily and flexibly.
