.Senior Frontend Developer at Vue School (full-time) About us Hello We are BitterBrains, the company behind the popular learning platforms Vue School and Mastering Nuxt. We are also proud organizers of Vue.Js events, including Nuxt Nation, Vue.Js Nation, and Vue Forge. This year, we launched the Official Vue.Js Certification program, in partnership with Evan You and the Vue.Js team. Since 2016, we've had the privilege of helping over 160,000 students learn Vue.Js and other web technologies and creating an online community of 500,000 developers. We take pride in making education accessible and available everywhere around the world. Our mission is to continue spreading knowledge and making developers' life easier.The position We are seeking a talented and experienced senior frontend developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on all our projects, implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases. The tasks include working on existing legacy codebases that run on Vue 2, Nuxt 2, and Vuex, and assisting in migrating these codebases to the latest Vue 3 and Nuxt 3. Additionally, you will work on new projects that utilize Vue 3, Composition API, Nuxt 3 SSR, and Pinia as their state management library. You will also be working on performance optimizations, ensuring our web apps excel at core web vitals, as well as owning our node configs, error monitoring, and bug fixing.If you are a skilled developer who wants to work on exciting projects from start to finish, we would love to hear from you.The position is 100% remote and you can apply from anywhere in the world, as long as you have availability to work full-time (8 hours), sharing around 4 hours with the office day of the CET timezone.Requirements A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the following or similar technologies: JavascriptVue.Js 2 and 3Nuxt 2 and 3CSS (Tailwind)NodeExperienced in TypeScript and Git.Proven expertise in integrating REST APIs with web applications.Proficiency in optimization techniques, from page load to SEO.Strong habit of documenting and unit testing your work.Ability to refactor and enhance existing codebases.Collaborative mindset to effectively communicate with the team, from initial concept to implementation.Experience working remotely.Strong self-management skills to thrive in a remote work environment.Nice to have Experience with GTM or similar tools.Experience with integrating CRMs, like customer.Io.Experience with deployment process using Laravel Forge and Netlify.Experience implementing markup from designs on Figma or Zeplin.Experience working for e-learning platforms.Holding an official Vue.Js certificate.What we offer Work for a brand users loveWork with cutting-edge technologies.Full-time remote position on a long-term contract basis.Competitive salary and performance bonus structure.Flexible paid time off for work-life balance.Paid time off during your local bank holidays.Time to study and learn new skills
