.The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. Research is organized in the following main areas: Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and reproductive Health, Urban Health and Child and environmental health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.Lugar Barcelona, Campus MarISGlobal is seeking a research and policy technician who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the following projects: Exploring Tipping Points and Their Impacts Using Earth System Models AND Impact Pathway From: Climate Data, via Climate Information, to Climate Action. The overall project goal is to lead and organize the stakeholder engagement, co-design sessions and other dissemination activities for two European projects.KEY RESPONSABILITIES To contact project relevant stakeholdersTo organize co-design workshops with selected stakeholdersTo co-organize EU-level stakeholder engagement eventsTRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor or Masters Degree in social science or environmental sciences+2 years experience in research translation, dissemination and/or policy translation and user engagementSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Excellent writing and proofreading abilities, with a strong attention to detailExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independentlySKILLS TeamworkProblem resolutionLearning capacityAbility to work independentlyThe post holder will adhere to ISGlobal principles contained in People management policy, including Equity, diversity and health safety.
