JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Corporate and Leveraged Finance team of Credit Agricole CIB has a long track record and top tier ranking in providing LBO finance to private equity sponsors. Also, the team has strong experience in corporate loans and TMT financing.
The main responsibilities of the opportunity include:
• Researching and assessing potential credit opportunities, both qualitatively and quantitatively
• Perform financial models for leveraged buyout debt capacity analysis
• Assist the team with the analysis on business models, market positinioning and competitor dynamics based on due diligence reports, financial accounts and industry reports
• Monitoring of existing portfolio companies
• Preparing internal credit applications on proposed opportunities
• Liaise with other departments and geographies within the Bank to generate cross-selling opportunities. The candidate will have the ability to develop professionally playing a key role within the Iberian team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering
• Previous internship experience. Preferably in M&A/Leveraged Finance / Private Equity, but not prerequisite
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Modelling skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High
learning capacity. High degree of autonomy. Hard worker and team player
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in additional European languages advantageous
