Job Description
How can you contribute? You will join our IT Infrastructure Team to support both the Group Service Centers and National Service Centers within Eurofins, covering approx. 4,000 end-users and more than 60 sites across the world. As a part of the IT Infrastructure Team, you will support and execute strategic and transformational initiatives, including a segregation execution program, the implementation and design of different segregated zones, and the support and design of the segregation of different in-scope solutions. As an IT Infrastructure Architect at Eurofins, you will:
Manage the provided IT services (e.g.: servers, storage, monitoring, backup, physical hardware, cloud services, etc.);
Act as a Service Owner/Specialist for the in-scope IT services;
Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery;
Deliver quality documentation: Procedures, Policies, High Level Designs and Low Level Designs;
Act as a mentor towards the technical team members and support their operational activities;
Cooperate closely with C&S and Security teams to ensure the appropriate alignment and governance;
Ensure that the services comply with the set policies and standards;
Design and create newly defined segregated Infra zones within Eurofins;
Work together with the solutions teams on the solutions designs for the different Application Availability Groups (AAGs);
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in IT, Business or similar;
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure support and/or architecture design;
- Hands-on experience in infrastructure areas such as network architecture, Microsoft Windows Server Platforms, virtualization platforms incl. VMware, Cloud Computing (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), Identity Management, data replication technologies, event monitoring and configuration management tools;
- Experience with key hyperscalers Azure or AWS is highly desirable;
- Expertise or specialization in one or several of these areas: Azure IAAS (Servers, Networking, Data Center); Azure PAAS; Microsoft O365 and M365 (Exchange, Sharepoint Online, Teams, etc.); Workspace Management and Software distribution and packaging of software;
- Fluent in English communication skills (written/oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.
