Position: Grid Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Fully responsible for successful execution of Solution Engineering Projects.
Act as the main technical interface between the customer and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy regarding Grid topics for offshore projects during the sales and execution phases.
Grid requirements analysis: evaluate Siemens Gamesa technical compliance to requirements in the Grid area.
Perform a Technical Sales function during the sales phase, discussing technical requirements directly with the customer and Transmission Authorities.
In the execution phase, perform a Project Management function, providing contract requirements including technical documentation, digital models, and specialized technical support within the Grid Area.
Provide support to Park Control specialists.
Conduct highly specialized technical discussions with Siemens Gamesa Technology and Product Portfolio Management departments to identify solutions for current needs and future developments on Siemens Gamesa products.
Revision and performance of studies in the following domains: Steady State, Dynamics, and Transient.
Requirements: Master's degree in electrical power engineering, preferably with experience from the wind turbine business and/or grid developer/grid operator industries.
A bachelor's degree with a strong technical background is also acceptable.
Experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab/Simulink, PSS/E, DIgSILENT Power Factory, or similar.
Self-driven, extroverted, analytical, and capable of maintaining an overview of complex tasks.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Chinese and French is a plus.
Motivated to work in a strong technical and customer-oriented environment.
Experience performing studies in steady state, dynamic, and transient domains.
Remote working will be allowed if required.
