About Us Brainstorm, a specialist company dedicated to providing industry-leading real-time 3D graphics and virtual set solutions, is looking for a Technical Application Specialist for its head office, for immediate incorporation.
Since 1993, Brainstorm is a company with a global reach, internationally oriented and committed to innovation, working with some of the largest broadcasters in the world and other content providers including RTVE, BBC, RAI, CBS, CNBC, Disney, ESPN, NBC, Reuters, WWE and many others.
Location: Madrid Work model: Hybrid Requirements Bachelor's degree or Technician in Telecommunications and/or Image and Sound 2+ Years of experience.
English: Good written and verbal communication.
Willing to travel around 25% of the time Valid Passport.
Valid Driver's License.
Core responsibilities: In this position, you'll play a key role in providing technical support to help our sales team succeed in selling our products and services.
It's a great opportunity for someone eager to learn, and we'll provide on-the-job training to help you grow in the role.
You'll be joining our friendly Production Services Team and will report directly to the Production Services Director.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve supporting all technical aspects of our business development efforts, both before and after sales.
Here are some of the tasks you would do: Pre-sales technical support: Assist in providing online and onsite demonstrations, PoCs and technical support in promoting Brainstorm's product offerings.
Assist in the preparation of system proposals including diagrams and other supporting technical documentation.
Presenting and recommending solutions which best meet client requirements.
Manage and set up all demo equipment for trade shows, events, demonstrations and PoCs.
Manage logistics and shipping of equipment for such events.
Manage post-sales technical support activities: Ensure installations progress to meet deployment expectations on time.
Provide technical or creative support, including training for existing clients.
Set up and first implementation training courses for new customers.
Set up customer design implementation, and live operation during specific service projects, such as elections, news, or sports TV shows.
Regularly engage with the Product Management to ensure in-depth and up-to-date understanding of all Brainstorm products, their capabilities, features, toolsets, strengths and weaknesses as well as supported third-party hardware and software.
Assist with building the structure, content and implementation of Brainstorm's presentations and demonstrations.
Brainstorm's products QA What we are looking for: Broadcast/video-industry knowledge and experience preferred, particularly in live environments.
Knowledge and experience with real-time 3D Engines such as InfinitySet, Aston 3D, Unreal Engine.
Knowledge and experience with broadcast/video equipment and signal routing – setting up cameras, video cards, converter boxes etc.
IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Products.
Outgoing friendly personality and ability to network and build strong relationships with clients, resellers and partners at the highest levels.
Organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work individually and as a team player.
