Payco is Allianz Technology's next-generation global platform for payments, collections, and financial subledger capabilities. Built by a small and highly dynamic team, Payco embraces AI-native software development practices from the ground up, leveraging AI coding assistants, automation, and modern engineering approaches to accelerate delivery and innovation.

As AI-Native Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of the platform, ensuring that business objectives, technical quality, and delivery milestones are successfully achieved. You will work closely with architects, engineers, business stakeholders, and AI-enabled development teams to establish efficient ways of working, remove delivery obstacles, and continuously improve how software is designed and delivered in an AI-first environment.

This role combines delivery leadership, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and team coordination within a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape.

What you do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Payco platform, ensuring successful execution against agreed timelines, quality standards, and business objectives across its full lifecycle: from initial country/business onboarding, fit-gap analysis, and roadmap definition with estimations, to execution, go-live, and stabilization.
• Define, establish, and actively monitor delivery KPIs and quality metrics (e.g., lead time, velocity, defect rate) using custom dashboards to track team performance and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Coordinate a cross-functional team of architects, engineers, product stakeholders, and AI-assisted development workflows to deliver scalable payment, collection, and financial solutions.
• Drive project planning, backlog prioritization, costs monitoring and resource allocation, risk management, and dependency tracking across multiple international stakeholders and technical and business workstreams.
• Promote and implement AI-native software delivery practices, including AI-assisted development, specification-driven delivery, automated quality controls, and agent-output validation.
• Facilitate technical discussions and challenge solution design decisions, architectural trade-offs, and implementation approaches to ensure feasibility and quality without relying solely on reported status.
• Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, governance models, and team collaboration practices to support an agile and high-performing environment.
• Build strong relationships with international stakeholders and provide transparent, data-driven updates on progress, risks, milestones, and delivery outcomes.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in software delivery, project management, program leadership, or technology consulting environments, particularly in complex, multi-country/multi-stakeholder environments.
• Hands-on experience establishing delivery metrics, quality controls, and engineering/delivery dashboards (KPIs, DORA metrics, defect tracking, etc.).
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technology teams and delivering complex software solutions in agile environments.
• Solid technical background with a solid understanding of modern software architectures and technologies, including cloud-native platforms, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems, enabling you to technically challenge development teams and solutions.
• Proven track record managing the full end-to-end software lifecycle (from business onboarding and fit-gap through to production rollout).
• Familiarity with payments, collections, finance, accounting, or subledger platforms is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong interest or hands-on exposure to AI-native software development, including hands-on exposure to AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled delivery practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with C1 / fluency in English for an international business context.
