In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, and HR colleagues on labor relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and supporting positive employee relations across the organization. You will play a key role in managing employee relations cases, advising on labor law matters, supporting negotiations and consultation processes, and contributing to a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to managers and HR teams on employee and labor relations matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary processes, grievances, workplace investigations, performance-related matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, internal policies, and company procedures.
  • Partner with business leaders to proactively identify and mitigate labor relations risks.
  • Support organizational changes, restructures, workforce consultations, and other labor-related initiatives.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain employment documentation, communications, and case records.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors when required.
  • Monitor updates to employment legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support collective labor relations activities, including interactions with employee representatives, workers' councils, and unions where applicable.
  • Deliver practical training and guidance to managers on employee relations best practices and labor law compliance.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and provide recommendations to enhance the employee experience and reduce risk.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and tools.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, employment law, or a similar HR-focused role.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases independently from initiation through resolution.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international, and changing business environment.
  • Previous experience within technology, digital, travel, or multinational organizations is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and employee relations practices.
  • Highly hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a risk-management perspective.
  • Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and positive workplace culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Languages

  • Advanced English (C1 level or equivalent).
  • Advanced Spanish (C1 level or equivalent).
