As Lead AI Engineer, you drive direct impact by building the AI agents and autonomous systems that scale expertise across the entire customer journey, from first engagement to renewal and expansion. - deciding where AI creates the most leverage before deciding how to build it Jointly test MVPs and agents with select account teams to validate directly with customers, then scale what works into org-wide playbooks The Role: As Lead AI Engineer, you balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You identify where AI agents create the most leverage across the customer journey, architect the frameworks to prove it works, and then empower the broader organization to scale what you've built. You lead high-impact projects to architect next-generation AI Agents, autonomous frameworks, and LLM-driven assets. Your goal is to fundamentally revolutionize key activities across the customer journey (pre-sales, onboarding, deployment, adoption, renewal), enabling CCO teams to win and retain customers and unlock unprecedented business value. You partner closely with field teams to jointly test MVPs and agents, validating directly with customers, while acting as a sparring partner to fellow Celonauts across CCO and other organizations You leverage your extensive network across Celonis and the ecosystem to achieve the team's objectives Paired with core software skills (Python, SQL) and Celonis platform expertise (e.g., Stakeholder & Program Management: Strong project management background with a proven track record of rolling out and driving adoption for new assets, frameworks, or processes across cross-functional teams. You possess strong capabilities in strategic planning, clear communication, and proactive stakeholder engagement. Strategic Vision: You can zoom out from individual agents to see the bigger picture
